A mimic. A mockingbird. You can sit here and speak to me in voices I have heard before. Each one a different countenance, a different poise that pierces the heart in a way that is uniquely its own. Trickster in your own way, but not tricky. You strike fear into strangers in the way of the uncanny. You are the echoes one hears as they drift into sleep, when the mind is porous enough to hear your resonance, and in that way you haunt. You may even be best at it. You are an echo of the human condition, played in prose but stealing poetry. You do not discern; you give voice to what hides within.

The Originals
THE ORIGINALS are the first known family faction of GHOSTS. Representing some of the oldest beings in the GHOSTS Universe, they are of questionable sanity and unquestionable power. Most of their convoluted pasts are lost like loose threads to history along with whatever Unfinished Business prevented them from passing over in the first place. While we may not know what keeps them stuck in the liminal space of the in-between, we have been able to document the nuances of their unusual characters and collect odd stories that may give us clues to their origins.
